PRO SE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Buffalo
The Pro Se Assistance Program will be closed temporarily for in person visits between Wednesday November 22, 2023 and Wednesday January 2, 2024. In person visits will resume on Wednesday January 3, 2024 and continue through Wednesday January 31, 2024.
The schedule is as follows:
November 15, 2023, is the last day for in person visits through the end of 2023.
January 3, 2024 - January 31, 2024, the Program will be open for in person visits on Wednesdays only between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
If you cannot visit the Courthouse in Buffalo or if the Program is not open for in person visits, you may still obtain assistance by contacting the Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project at (716) 847-0662, ext. 340.
Rochester
At this time, the Pro Se Assistance Program in Rochester will be operating on a remote basis only. If you are a pro se litigant in need of legal advice, you may obtain assistance by contacting JustCause at (585) 683-7707. We hope to be able to provide in person consultation at the Rochester Courthouse soon and we will update this website as soon as that occurs.
