The U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York is scheduling downtime for upgrade and maintenance to the case management system, CM/ECF. E-filing will be unavailable Saturday, June 27, 2020, from 10:00 am EST until 3:00 pm EST.

This upgrade includes a several background updates, including a solution to prevent a Pay.gov payment transaction from failing upon returning the user to CM/ECF. Additionally, this upgrade includes a new Nature of Suit (NOS) code, 880, to identify cases involving the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016. CM/ECF will not present the new nature of suit for selection until October 1, 2020.
